Family

Hi! I'm Rachel, I live with my husband, Alex, and our two daughters on Maywood Road. I grew up near Racine, Wisconsin and moved to the Madison area to attend college at UW where I met Alex. Alex grew up on Dean Avenue in Monona so when looking to buy our first house it didn't take long to realize Monona was it! We briefly moved to Cottage Grove after selling our first house, but missed all that Monona has to offer. The parks, bikeability and proximity to Madison's downtown cannot be beat! We moved back in 2020 and are so happy to be a part of this small town community again. Our oldest is a first grader at Winnequah and our youngest is excited to join her sister when she starts kindergarten this fall.

Alex owned two Pizza Restaurants for 12 years and now works for Frank Beverage Group. He also is the Assistant Varsity Soccer Coach at Monona Grove.

Career

I earned my Industrial Engineering Degree from UW-Madison and my MBA from UW-Whitewater. The majority of my career has been with Therma-Stor, a manufacturing company on the east side of Madison where I am currently the Director of Operations. My career has focused on implementing the Lean Philosophy of removing waste and making processes more efficient. I am excited for the opportunity to transfer that mindset to serving the people of Monona.
